1. Who is responsible
Bo Bregman, trading as Bo Studio, is responsible for the processing of personal data by Bo Studio. The business is based in Berkel en Rodenrijs and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 98783327. For privacy enquiries: [email protected] or +31 6 59 06 08 03.
2. Enquiries and contact
The form asks for your name, email address, service and project description. Company, budget, event date, location and deadline are optional. When you contact me directly, I also process the details you provide by email, phone or WhatsApp. Please do not send sensitive personal data that is not needed for your enquiry. The form requires a name, email address, service and description; you can also call or email me directly.
I use these details to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out any resulting project. The legal basis is preparing or performing an agreement at your request. For general questions unrelated to a project, the basis is the legitimate interest in answering correspondence, using only the details needed. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.
3. Website and security
To operate and secure the website, the hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address, browser and request time. The form limits repeated enquiries using a temporary hashed derivative of your IP address. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in limiting abuse and spam. I do not use this to track visitors for advertising.
4. Data retention
I retain enquiries that do not become projects for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact. Data for an active project is retained for as long as needed to complete and administer the work and meet legal obligations. Records subject to tax retention requirements are kept for the statutory period.
Temporary anti-abuse records are cleaned up when a new enquiry is received. With the scheduled cleanup task, they are also removed within 24 hours without further enquiries. Technical server logs and backups follow the hosting and email provider’s retention periods; details are available via [email protected]. Where a dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention, I keep only what is needed.
5. Who receives data
Enquiries are sent to Bo Studio by email. Hosting and email providers process data to deliver their services. If a collaborator is needed for a project, I share only the data required for their work and put appropriate agreements in place. Data may also need to be disclosed to comply with the law. I do not sell your enquiry data.
This website does not store enquiries in a public database. Access to the mailbox and project files is limited to those who need the data for the work. Submit the form only over a secure HTTPS connection.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. Where applicable, you may object to processing or request data portability. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it. Some data cannot be deleted immediately where a statutory retention requirement applies.
Send your request to [email protected]. I may request information needed to verify your identity; please do not send an identity document without being asked. You will normally receive a response within one month. I do not use form data for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
If you have a complaint about data processing, please contact me. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

This policy is updated when the website or working practices change. The version date is shown at the top of this page.
